Many thanks for your kind comments.
I've reprocessed the image using PixInsight which has removed the unsightly "sharpening doughnuts" that Photoshop RAW curiously generates.
I've also uploaded an annotated version...more as a consequence of my wondering what the small planetary nebula was at top right (IC5148)

Again, thanks one and all for the positive comments.
I was in two minds about what gear to use to photograph Leonard, but
the choice to use a fast and shorter focal length turned out to be a good one as the detectable tail from the Blue Mountains easily spanned 5 degrees of sky. The Canon 200mm is possibly one of the sharpest lenses
..even at full aperture..made by Canon. A pity it has been discontinued.
I highly recommend use of Camranger/Ipad or any DSLR imaging...makes
getting focus and framing just so much easier. Simple, lightweight and just works. (I used a similar rig for my eclipse shots)
