Here's the solar surface in Ca II K3.
A couple of small filaments to compliment the proms, and the disappearing active areas.

Excellent Ca 11 K prominence image, am amazed how well the proms show at that band pass.
Very nice capture Ken. Was this taken in combination with the L filter?

I've settled on the following for the Ca II imaging with the MiniSHG:
Astronomik L1 UV-IR filter + W47 (Violet) + an exit slit gap (gaffa tape strips on the camera window, about 70A wide)
