My attempt on Leonard from Mt Pleasant

This is from 19/12:

Stack 25x30 sec ISO400, DSS, DPP.

Lens: Canon FD 400m @f/4
Filters: UV-IR stop
Camera: Canon 60D
Focus: Bahtinov
Guiding: No
Mount:EQ6 OnStep Mt. Pleasant


I also tried on 20/12, and I am pretty sure it brightened significantly.. core was saturated at settings from previous nigh, so I had to reduce both ISO and exposure time to get something (still working on it).

Another shot taken on 30/12/2021 (70x30 se, ISO3200, Canon 400mm F2.8L@f/4, Canon 60D).. I can't do it any better.

After that night the weather didn't cooperate...

I really feel I am missing out on this one. Its a fabulous imaging target and such rotten skies in the Sydney area for so long now.
