As soon as the comet began to move away from the Sun, its visibility season in the southern hemisphere began. Comet was near the Venus today.
During the shooting, I also observed visually with 50x10 binoculars. Core & come is clearly visible like a fuzzy star about 4.4m, tail was barely visible on the light sky as very short & wide rabbit's tail close to the core.
Image was taken in the twilight when comet was 20°-10° above the horizon.
Total 64 frames all with 30 sec exposures at Gain 100. 12 Red, 11 Green, 11 Blue, 34 Light taken in [LRLGLB...] sequence
Version 1 - Weighted sigma-clipping stacking removed all stars. White balance by the core.
Version 2 - Weighted sum stacking without sigma. White balance naturel for zwo filters. Yellow color may be defined by the Earth's atmosphere at object's low alt.
APT, PHD2, Iris, FITStacker, Photoshop
Hardware:
Tal-250K with F/6 reducer MkII, ASI2600MM camera with ZWO filters, EQ6PRO mount. Balcony in Brisbane.
