Can't connect to PC Skywatcher Collapsible Go To Dob

Hi there.
I own a 8 inch SW collapsible GO TO Dob with the Synscan v5 HC.

I want to try and connect it to a pc to use Go To capabilities from either CDC or Stellarium.
I downloaded and installed ASCOM platform and SW ASCOM drivers.

I tried to connect the HC to laptop USB port directly.

For the life of me I can't manage to get the darn thing going.

Furthermore I can't get to open a COM port even if I try to force it on the ASCOM Profile Explorer.

The laptop I'm using is running Windows 11!

Although I tried on my Desktop PC and same issue!

I select PC Direct from the HC menu, but nothing.

Nothing on Stellarium or CDC. I can't connect!

Both computers are carrying a Prolific Serial over USB
PL2303.

What could be the issue?

Turns out that the older drivers for the Prolific Serial over USB worked perfectly and now I can drive my scope through CDC and Stellarium!!
