Awesome. :thumbsup: You've got some details on the night time. Looking at that crescent I wanna cry. The phase was still big last time I had an imaging opportunity :lol:
Thanks Marc, I feel your pain. Make sure you grab & post some images when you can, I always look forward to them. We're presently getting about 1-2 clear nights per month. And trying to (re)arrange other commitments around that during this bloody pre-xmas madness I find nigh-on impossible. Plus, when it does clear, the seeing is usually rubbish. I did a UV run as well but that was a waste of time. 1-micron views are much less affected by seeing so there's that (although my 8" dob turns into a 4" dob resolution-wise :sadeyes:). But, hopefully we'll get better weather later on when Venus repeats this in reverse order after conjunction on the 9th of Jan with similar altitudes but morning sky, which is nice, and which suggests more favourable conditions.
