Sampson EQ mount - SOLD

Hi, i am selling my Sampson mount i have had it for many years and last year i re-painted it and fitted the LP Gas tank rings to fit the GSO 12" Dob. These are included. (see pic)
I no longer have dobs only the SCT now so it must go to make room in the shed. It is in pretty good condition and has 240V RA motor only.
Also i have a set of GSO 303mm rings brand new (fits the GSO 10") which i will include if someone want to make a plate to suit.
As this is VERY HEAVY it can be pick up only.

Just wonderng how suitable this mount would be for basic imaging?

Does the RA motor provide smooth motion?

What an absolute bargain. Even if you had to retro fit a tanget arm for Dec axis that's a steal. Good luck in selling it.
