My usual DIY CaK filter has a bandwidth of 1A just to the blue side of the CaK CWL.
The images today are as usual - reasonable seeing, spots visible etc.
A MiniSHG CaK image has a bandwidth around 0.2A (:eyepop:) and can be placed exactly on the CaK CWL.
The MiniSHG shows the extensive wispy filaments (around 7 o'clock) and a filaprom (around 1 o'clock)
On this occasion the MiniSHG came out best:D!!!
I'd be interested to see some other CaK images from the Lunt filter for comparison.
