Im interested in knowing where amateur astronomers will be viewing this phenomenon from. Also any ideas of best advantages for imagery.
I will be viewing from Nobbys Newcastle NSW

Well, for your location it rises eclipsed at 7:34pm at azimuth 66 degrees (north-east) so any high point with a NE outlook over the ocean would do.
I've seen similar before and it will be quite hard to see as the sky will be bright; and at the horizon the seeing will be poor, so don't expect great resolution.

I wouldn't plan for it Lydia as it will be socked out, with no sucker holes
