Cheers Ron:thumbsup:
Now comes the important question. Who are you going to barrack for in the upcoming Ashes?
For me as a transplanted Pom of only 39 years here, I knew it was time to go and get naturalised as an Aussie once I found myself barracking against the Poms in the Ashes.
Couldn’t agree more though about it being the best move we ever made

I had the operation in 1981;)
As for the Ashes? it all depends on the attitude and behaviour of the teams.
At the moment I am split but leaning towards the Poms as I think the Aussie arrogance is starting to rear it's ugly head again. :(
In saying that I think that Cricket aint Cricket anymore.
The players are mainly motivated by the money and not for the sport and country
England struggles to keep a regular team as the players are dashing off to play in the IPL or other monied tournaments.
Players are too sick or tired to play for the national team
but bounce up fit and well for the IPL.
Just sayin. ;)

Congratulations Ron, I still cannot get over the story of you driving that truck through a town somewhere, with a load of unpleasant stuff that sloshed out...
Here's to the next 50.:)

Thanks Dennis.:thanx:
You sure have a good memory.
It was Oldham Lancashire.
It's all that clever stuff you do to keep the
little grey cells working.
It would be good to catch up again one day.
Cambroon Caravan Park is still there.;)
Cheers:thumbsup:
Bloody glad you did. Happy "50" Ron! :)

Now who could forget those enthralling stories, over coffee and cake at 2:30am, under the dim red lights of the Duckadang dining room, where the acerbic wit and humour of Ron the raconteur was in full flow, helping keep our sleepy eyes open.:)
You are a good man Ron!
Cheers
Dennis
