Gorgeous planetary nebula in Fornax.
Would love to have a go at this from a dark sky site.

Suburban RGB imaging is certainly challenging.

You have done well Richard.

It compares well with other results.

Nice work

Well done. It's a difficult target. We think it looks rather like a chook embryo in an egg. You've got that stringy bit at the very bottom.

Hi Adam,

My 12-inch F5 GSO Dob.

Thanks to everyone for their comments.
I'm amazed at what can be imaged in RGB from a suburban location. I'm still learning how to deal with gradients, noise and artefacts etc. The images are not as good as from a dark sky site and others post better images of many deep sky objects. But, I really enjoy tracking these objects down and the challenge of capturing some of their detail. I love eyepiece observing of DSOs but imaging lets me capture details I cannot hope to see e.g. the Horsehead nebula (taken on the same night)

Richard.
