Well to be honest, I'm not sure what I have captured.
Not found anything that looks like it.
Must give up the green stuff :P

That's utterly superb. It looks like a dwarf magellanic galaxy similar to Barnard's Galaxy. Lots and lots of yummy detail in your image.
Hi MnT!
I still haven't found another image that shows this scene.
Maybe someone out there can find one

Wanna have a look?

No, its rarely imaged by amateurs and this is a good shot of it mate
One of the many galaxies I have "nearly" imaged  over the years but something has always managed to trump it  so thanks, for the looksee, does look a lot like Barnard's Galaxy though.

+1 Excellent shot of that faint dwarf galaxy. Good details in the red Hii regions as well. One for the cool wall.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Didn't even know this thing existed. Can't see it on Stellarium.
How did you even know to shoot it?
Really nice, I echo everyone else's comments!

Okay so I've just had a peak on the DSS survey in Stellarium with these coordinates.
This thing is TINY! I've paired my camera and scope through Stellarium's oculars and it barely registers.
Even more impressed with this image now.
Sorry everyone - It is IC1613 in Cetus.
And thank you for the encouragement :)

Well that makes more sense :D:P
Still, this one is even more faint, even if it's "bigger".

Excellent Peter!
Wondering if the little green blob at 7 o'clock is a planetary neb?
Congrats on successfully navigating the unknown! :D

Yes, that confirms it is indeed a dwarf magellanic type galaxy. We must have a peek.
Hey M
Hope your back in the dome with the dblV :)
Good luck Andy, got my vote :)
Now that would be totally cool.
Zero in on that Neb at 7 o' clock with your big bucket.
We may all learn something...

Well done Pete, I made a start on this DSO with my C8 some time ago but gave up because it was so faint. Nice to see what it actually looks like.
