Today’s images were taken in average seeing conditions and comprise a selection of Ca K, Continuum and a whole disc taken with a Wratten 18A filter. The latter though was colourized yellow rather than a deep purple the colour of the filter. The prominence in Ca K was difficult to pick up in any detail.

Do you have separate 'scopes, or do you just re-configure the one 'scope for the different wavelengths?

Dennis, all shots were taken through an 80 mm refractor. It was done just by changing the filter package.

Thanks Gerard, I was wondering about whether you had to make many changes, including re-focusing, etc. like when I switch out a Powermate and then plug in a Reducer, which is always an unwelcome overhead.:)

Yes Dennis those variables are a constant essential when trying to achieve some positive results in the mix. Experimentation is half the fun.
