I got to say my patients with Australia Post Melbourne division is wearing thin. Four packages currently late .. sent two weeks ago but not delivered. Pretty fast getting delivered into Melbourne but once it hit their distribution/sorting facility that is where it stays according to the tracking info. I checked on one package and a message concurred that it was late and recommended I put a missing report in.

Well it is what it is...they probably are not happy either.
I expect covid has played a part and in that regard we can blame the minority who refuse to get vaccinated and therefore ensure that the virus continues.

Alex, no reflection on you personally so please don't take offence but you have no idea how much I hate that saying "It is what it is".

I work on Army projects and this saying is thrown around all the time. I personally think it is used to mask incompetence.

I am waiting on average 3 weeks for items sent from China AFTER they arrive in Sydney (1 week max from China, then sit in Sydney interminably). Items sent from Aus sellers ex Sydney though are 1 week max. QLD up to 9 days so far.

Purchased an Auto Focus Kit for my ACL200 from Testar and tracking shows it took 2 days from Sydney to Melbourne and for nearly 2 weeks it appears it has been sitting awaiting processing at a depot 10km from my location. I would hope that there is a policy of first in first out for packages entering and leaving a depot but somehow I don't think it is the case. It gets logged in and forgotten about.

Hans, if your patients (sic) is wearing thin the perhaps you should take it up with Australia Post.
