For sale is an increasingly difficult to find Baader Hyperion eyepiece, the 5mm. A comfortable way to view at high power, the offer here also includes Baader's 28mm fine tuning ring which brings the focal length of the eyepiece to 3.2mm. Also included is both caps and sack.
Glass is perfect, rubber eyecup is soft and clean, barrels are looking good too. Refer to pics for more detail, the eyepiece is near new condition.
The eyepiece mounts in both 1 1/4" and 2" clamps and is quite substantial, especially tall with the extension ring.
Seeing is often the limiter at really high power, but for splitting doubles in particular the 3.2mm option was often able to resolve better than at 5mm. On very good nights the 3.2 also gave better planetary and lunar views through my old 760mm Tak, pushing well beyond 200x magnification.
