12 Oct. A cloudy and rough atmosphere did not allow for good images today. This was the best image I could get of the sun's western sector. It shows two active regions (numbered).
Single exposure 1/80 sec through a WO 81 mm refractor with a canon 550d camera. Thanks for viewing.

An interesting shot John. It looks like more activity is brewing in that little sunspot grouping immediately to the northwest of AR2882 since your post.
