I have been a big fan of Bino viewers and Big Bino's since starting this amazing hobby. After visiting the Texas Star party back in 2018 i fell in love with some of the parallelogram mounts a number of attendees were sporting.
Whilst i loved my DM6 which i used for my 100mm ED APO APM's, it always bothered me that observing to Zenith was always tricky, and always 50/50 depending on my tripod height, and extension. I recently took the plunge and bought a 10Micron Leonardo mount for for my APM Bino's, and recently had the opportunity to try it for the first time this last week.
What a joy to use, and chalk and cheese when comparing to the DM6. with an 8" Teflon plate, the Leonardo is buttery smooth, and a joy to use standing up or reclining in my favorite observing chair. One of the best toys I have bought to date (other than SDM #1010 of course). 5 stars.
