Hi All,
Had some more clear weather so had a go at Markarians Chain of Galaxies with the ED80 + F-6.3 Focal reducer (this is a Meade SCT reducer and not made for this kind of work, but with an all black background, and no Coma to worry about I gave it a go) The Field is not as wide as when I used the Skywatcher 100mm + FR, but imaging was sharper.

Thanks to Ken ive added a negative of the picture with designations of the brighter Galaxies, The brightest of the group is ngc-4486 (M87) at Mag.8.6 , ngc-4438 Mag.11, not sure what ngc4413 is but it looks the dimmest (must look it up).
Pis were- 4 x 6 Min. Exp. at ISO-800 DF removed, guided.

cheers......Jim

Hi Jim, that has turned out very nice.
Very crisp and clear.

Great image

The image is superb of course, but more amazingly is the vast distance covered in a single image. Also using a little imagination I could see firstly a snake when you join the galaxies together, then I revised it to a dragon. I also note a certain symmetry in the main galaxies, they seemed to pair up. I made out 4 sets of clearly associated galaxies (associated in this sense means close by, relatively speaking).
