Folks,
The forecast was looking OK that night and I'd put the mere C11 out to acclimatise, knowing if I was to get a glimpse of the GRS it'd be an early start.
Initial seeing was a bit rough, until the planet tipped over 50 degrees altitude, and then improved...for a while...then some rough seeing wandered into the picture for the best part of an hour before settling down again, permitting the second and third shot to be caught.
I'd been pushing it a bit with the Barlow of late and you can see the SNR suffers a bit...gonna need a bigger scope ;)
Anyhow, prolly my final Jupiter of the year, what with the stormy spring weather arriving :sadeyes:
