FINAL PRICE REDUCTION Vixen Polarie with Polar Scope and Polar Meter

For sale is a Vixen Polarie with Polar Scope and Polar Meter ( the widget you use to get close to the pole before using the polar scope, or in a pinch, get away with short focal length short exposures).

The Polarie has some scuff marks where it was attached to the quick release plate on my tripod but otherwise it’s in good condition. This thing is made in Japan and is a fine piece of kit. See photos attached

It’s very portable because of its small form factor.

You will need to add a ( sturdy) tripod and ball head of course.

I used to power it with batteries or with a power pack / USB cable. Don’t have the manual anymore but operation is simplicity itself and the manual will probably be available on the internet. It’s still very popular in Japan where they seem to be selling lots of accessories for it which show up on e Bay

I am selling because I have an Astrotrac and a Skyadventurer pro as well as a Nanotracker and I don’t need 4 camera tracking mounts!
