I've moved on from this excellent zoom lens and would like to move it on.
A good one for wide field imaging, the zoom doesn't slip from any focal length and L series lens are about as good as you'll get for a lens to be left outside for a few hours.
Condition is excellent. Glass is pristine front and rear, has always had a Hoya UV filter attached and this is included as well as front and rear caps. Zoom is smooth, as is focus ring, USM autofocus is super quick and very quiet, there are no knocks. The rubber has lightened some but is still soft and grippy. Maybe a wipe with some conditioner would make it black again, but I'm not super interested in how it looks so have not touched it.
I am thinking $500 is a good price, but happy to hear your thoughts if you think I'm dreaming?
Located Canberra and would prefer a local sale, but can post to members here. I'm keen for express to make sure it keeps moving in the current postage environment.
