that's very good, an unusually subtle colour blend that's a pleasure to view. Masterful processing.

I agree, a very 3D and pleasant palette.

I had a Tak BRC250 once. A beautiful instrument.

Well done Luke, your best effort on processing.

What did you use ie: Pixinsight, Startools, Topaz etc?

Like Greg said a wonderful 3D quality.

Nicely done

Thanks for the feedback guys. Used Pixinsight and PS. But I tried out the new Xterminator star removal plugin for PS. Works really well, better than Starnet in my opinion. Doesnt produce as many artifacts in the nebulosity when the stars are removed.

Cool.

Do you have a link for the plug in?

Peter the link below, there is a 30 day trail.

https://www.rc-astro.com/resources/StarXTerminator.

Works really well with some images not quite as well with others but imo more pleasing than Starnet.

The image certainly is beautiful at the lower resolution that you posted. Very nice colour and 3D quality and good looking stars (on Astrobin at the medium resolution).

I'm not sure why the full size image is so noisy? At full resolution there appear to be many many hot pix. Are you using darks and/or other noise reduction? And, unfortunately there is quite noticeable coma in the system. I don't know much about the BRC250 so please forgive me for mentioning this. Is the corrected image circle large enough to work successfully with the QHY600? Are you using any sort of corrector in this setup? Is one available?

But, I'm quibbling over something you have clearly avoided by posting only the lower resolution. I think I'm only bringing this up because the image looks so good! Your rendition(s) are artful and expressive and I'd think that you might want to be able to post full size images that retain this beauty.
