Basic lunar shots

Hopefully some more encouragement for newbies; simplest possible technique. 8" f/5 Newt, single JPEG exposures, Canon 1100D, eyepiece projection, taken about 10yrs ago.
Of course, if taken today using the same gear, they wouldn't be quite as sharp, what with the Moon being 380mm further away.

Good effort Paul, but I wonder what the strange edge is at the 4 to 6 o'clock
position.

It is pretty basic Leon, just a telescope, a camera, and an eyepiece, JPEG
single exposure, straight out of the camera except for a tiny bit of sharpening in Irfanview. I don't see how it could be more basic than that.
