After a discussion with an 8yo who wanted an image with real stars , not little dots, I worked out he wanted diffraction spikes..not normally seen on a refractor..:D.. so I made a frame with crosshairs using 80lb fishing line.


Turns out I don't mind it...:lol:

Thanks Jim, a great area, I think the most diverse for 'natural"colour in the sky, a bit late now though, next year. :)
