Hi all,

So heres an attempt at the Helix Nebula.
1645mm @ f/7 with an EdgeHD 9.25.
2 Nights, one of them a little windy.. 4.5hrs. It needs a fair bit more time ive come to learn.. :D

That's looking very good.

You get 80% of the way on this one quickly. But that last 20% takes a lot of extra exposure time.

Very nice work Andrew. An excellent image in itself and can also lay the ground work for more data and extended detail.

Thanks guys, well i think i got my first real taste at seeing first hand that some targets simply need to be imaged for very long periods, more so than any previous target imaged to date anyway. A work in progress I'll consider it as.
