I had fun last night (16th April 2007) imaging Galaxies again.

ED80, Modified 840k Toucam Pro II, Desire, Photshop.
No darks this time as they looked better without.

1. Volans Trio - NGC2443, 2442, 2434 - 5 x 300 second frames
2. Leo Double - M65, M66 - 7 x 180 second frames
3. Leo Ultra Deep Field Smorgasbord - at least 20 Galaxies in the FOV!!! :eyepop: Count them. - 8 x 200 second frames

Jeez i'll bet it looks better through the 12". Can you get them using the toucam and 12"er
Cheers,
Duncan:P

Unfortunately, the 12" washes everything out very fast as it collects every bit of light. Including the foggy mist that was around at the time I took these.

I need a night of 8+/10 transparency to get the 12" on them.

Yep Nick, I need to learn about 'flats' yet.

Andrew (Astroman) sent me the documented designations of the objects in my Cluster image - Abell 1367

Thanks Andrew

I have placed them all on the pic. ALL 27 of them :eyepop:

The Toucam is waaayyyy more sensitive than I thought!!!! 2 of the galaxies in there are fainter than 16.9 Mag!!!

Thanks Guys.

Gonna be scarey to see what I get in an image when I have cooling and Amp-off on the Toucam, and no mist in the air. That'll really test the Toucam!
