The south east coast of NSW has been battered by a huge Low which moved across yesterday afternoon and last night with winds recorded up to 90 to 105 km / hr and 3 inches of rain to go with it
Lost power a few times over the last 24 hours with winds now reduced to around 40 to 60 km/ hr
Forecast is for winds to abate this afternoon with more stable conditions on Thursday with cloud 15 to 20 km/hr winds and the odd shower or two
Checked my NexDome this morning and inside she’s as dry as the Simpson desert, so really happy as this was a real good weather test of the design

Did anyone else cop a hammering last night ?

Very wet and extremely windy. I heard whistling around the house I have not heard before. Could have been worse apparently. 8m swell in Botany Bay.
It was very cold up in Bowral on a building site.

Same here. We're in a relatively quiet spot because a bit lower with hills East, North and West and a narrow corridor South but the past few days the wind gusts were pretty strong. Managed to rip some of the exposed colorbond. Nothing major but that was new.
