It was at Primex Casino ( agricultural show) ..these binoculars were on a table at I think $30 ..could have been $20..with various tools odds and ends ( and a neat back scratcher that in hospital is worth twice its weight in gold)...so I pick them up and have a peek around bit hard to use but the view was ok and at $30 perfect to hang on the back of the door to grab easily for a bird or plane...however if I had taken the time to read that they were 20 x magnification I would not have bought them believing like everyone 10 x is as high as you should go...glad I missed 20x as these have turned out a little gem for astro...eye relief ..whats that? But when in position the views are excellent.
I guess the market rejected them and the vendor got them via a liquidation type sale ..but I wish I had bought the six that were there...only got them out now to sit in the Sun and watch some birds but so glad I did not notice they were 20x magnification.

Nice find Alex. I can confirm that's a good power:aperture ratio and near the sweet spot for exit pupil. I use a monocular, minimal-glass version (the Galileoscope with the 28mm RKE, slightly less magnification at 18x and no tripod) with excellent results. Enjoy

You have done well Alex for $20.00 or was it $30.00 and Bushnell is not a shabby brand either, a bit of vibration i expect, but what the heck hey.

Alex, you can probably get a tripod adaptor for them. See if there is a little rubber cap in the middle of the hinge piece, that is usually where the tripod adaptor attaches. Then there are the articulated sprung bino holders, which would allow you to lie back in your Lazy Boy Recliner and star gaze.:P
