Another nice one - pretty much the same quality of view Apollo astronauts had on approaching the moon.

Agreed!
He’s even captured the Black Monolith.
And no, I’m not implying that Stanley Kubrick directed the Apollo missions.
:P
Excellent work “I can’t do that Dave” Houghy.
Lovely image H.
Looks like you have a few sequential days of moon images. It would make for a good phases of the moon video sequence or photo montage.

That's a fortunate mistake, wasn't banking on that. The earlier Images were cropped at capture to increase input of the video. So not sure how I could do it? I'm not in the same league as Dennis. ;)
Hi H,
You could get all your sequential images (one from each evening) in to almost any video editing program, where you could size the image and move the moon disc so that all the images sit perfectly one on top of each other. Then when complete add smoothing blending/dissolve transitions between each of the sequential images and voila you'll have your video sequence. Then just expand/compress the time line &/or individual image duration to get a reasonable length video.... says me who hasn't taken my own advice and completed an eclipse video sequence as long ago as last year:D:D:D
If you have the time, and especially with your wonderful images, I'd go for one image per night and experiment with each image being on screen for 1-2seconds to see what feels/looks right and what creates a reasonable length video for you. I think 30-60s would be a good target.
