Hi all
Well,It's been a while since my last post (with no net connection) but now with a new faster server It makes life a touch easier.
I've got a couple of new Southern objects shots, the immense Eta Carina nebula(NGC 3372) and a wonderful Open Cluster in Centaurus NGC 3766.
NGC 3372(Eta Carina) is about 2deg in size and at a distance of about 8,000ly makes for a stunning sight at the eyepiece through any telescope.
NGC 3766 is 15'in size,a tight coloful open cluster in Centaurus at about 6,000ly and estimated to be around 20 million years old.
These were shot with a SXV-H9C through a ZS 66SD and guided with a ZS 110 on a AP600 mount.
Exposure on NGC 3372 was 4min x 30
Exposure on NGC 3766 was 4min x 19
Hope you enjoy them and larger images can be found at my site in Gallary under Most Recent.
