Hi all

First post in the DS section.

I revisited the Dragons two nights ago and came up with this. Processed in Siril, which I'm quite enjoying using.

however I haven't yet learned how to do wavelet sharpening correctly, and noise reduction was using Photoshop's built in algorithms, so I know the image can be improved on those fronts (if anyone has tips for either, feel free to share :))

I like the wide field framing Adam, capturing the egg with good detail.

Nicely done

thanks Marc :)

thanks Peter. Wouldn't it be nice to have extra long focal length and tackle that egg on it's own one day *dreaming*

Adam,
Lovely image there and framed beautifully
Well done !!
Could I suggest a bit more contrast and brightness between dark and bright regions to give the image a more “Wow” ( only my opinion ) image seems a tad dark
Still a fine effort
Cheers
Martin

Hi Martin

Many thanks for the suggestion :)
I definitely see what you mean, and to be honest, ummed and ahhhed about it for quite a while before posting. I have a version saved somewhere with more contrast so I'll have a relook at that and post back.

Thanks for taking the time to comment

Thanks Greg, glad you liked the colours. It's another thing I kept tweaking over and over :D In fact, I might tweak it again...
Never satisfied!!!

Do post it, Jeff! That's how we all learn, and I'd love to see yours to see what you can share and teach us too.
Thanks for the comment :)

Here's a slightly contrast-boosted image per Martin's suggestion:
