Hopefully the title of this August 1st image is not too cryptic. :)
Nice to see some clear skies hence had a spare few hours to tinker further with CMOS imaging.
NGC 104 is nicely placed this time of year for a single evening's session, so here it is. (http://www.atscope.com.au/BRO/gallery525.html)
Excellent nights work Peter, crisp, clear and just right well done.

Hi Pete
Once again any chance of a preview?
My satellite won't connect with your website.
www.atscope.com.au didn’t send any data.
ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE
But I'm sure it's a great image :)

The link is definitely working. Not sure why your ISP isn't.

Peter,
Nice capture there of one of my favourite globs
You also picked up NGC 121 faint glob and looks like a small PCG galaxy ?
Lots of red giants in the mix too
Thanks for posting, nothing wrong with a well presented globular cluster on the forum
Well done !
Martin

Ta. Hardly an award winner, but I think it's a nice result for a single session from the 'burbs.
I must admit I am not a fan of the distorted colours from using duo band filters that seem popular at the moment for mitigating light pollution.
Each to his own, but I prefer straight RGB.

As I only use the 2600MC , all my GC’s are captured without any filter , Duoband or other regardless of LP or Moon glare , plays havoc with colours
I image from the George’s river area bortle 7/8 and South Coast Bortle 3/4 out of my Obs
I adopt same procedure for both locations , works well

Yes - that's NGC 121 - another globular cluster:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NGC_121
I don't know what the other faint object is at 2 o'clock?
I couldn't tract it down.
Anyway Peter - it's a very sharp pic - well done.
cheers
Allan
