View Full Version here: : where is the photo?
I know it's a while ago but someone put in a link to a photo of comet McNaught taken in Adelade, and I've lost the link. It was a great photo and I'd like to find it again, I've done a search with no luck,can anyone help?

Go to the observational astronomy part of the forum and have a look through the comet McNaught images thread, it's more than likely to be in there as there are over 750 posts of images and links to look through.

ill take a wild guess, and this is the one you mean, tho not taken from LP'ed Adelaide, taken from the far west coast in SA, many hundreds of klm's away? or do you mean with the city of adelaide in it?

Adelaide (the city and surrounds) suffered badly from stormy weather conditions for the 3 most important days (altho the north of state got some clear weather on the sunday night, we got the twilight phase, before clouds spoiled the dark sky phase, we were hardly one of the arsey locations in the box seat, that prize goes to WA :) we would of had to drive to far west Ceduna! (and be stranded by the once in 50 yr storm floodwaters/damaged roads on the way home lol) or drive to outback NSW, to get the very best evenings/nights of the show.

It WAS a wild guess, but you are spot on ! Well worth another look for everyone.
