Hi all
This mount has been hardly used and has been in storage for the past 18 months or so.
It has been under test this past couple of weeks with ASA (Wolfgang himself) remoting in to assess the mount, which he says is in perfect condition.
It is the ASA DDM85 Standard mount with a payload capacity of 65Kg. It has incremental encoders (the same as absolute encoders, the difference being that this mount needs to be homed before starting).
It also has a built in USB 2.0 hub on the saddle plate which also allows for you to route power up to there too.
The mount runs silent.
I have been testing the Meade 14" ACF on this mount and was able to get 3 minutes unguided images. This with a manually built 25 point model, and with slight misalignment to the pole. The ASA software has built in modelling capability which automatically tunes.
There are 3 weights shown in the attached pic, but there are another 2 weights that go with it and the mount itself breaks down into 2 parts.
This mount cost $26,000AUD new in 2015, so the deal here is excellent, $15250 (was $17,000, then $16250, then $15750) excluding shipping and insurance, or very, very near offer.
If you are interested, pm me to discuss further.
cheers
