Reprocessed M17 Omega Nebula from a week ago using Startools V1.7 Compose for OSC narrowband ( similar to M16 )
Tried a few different options in the Matrix
SHO 40SII+60Ha ,40Ha+60 OIII , 100 OIII
SHO 60SII+40Ha, 30SII + 30Ha+40 OIII , 100 OIII
SHO:OHS 100 OIII, 50Ha+50 OIII, 50SII+ 50Ha
I only had to tweak colour bias a bit and saturation
The options available are endless , some look a bit ridiculous but some really give the image a boost in detail and depth
Comments most welcome

Very nice work Martin..you are making me regret going for the narrow band version of your camera given your wonderful results and the delay for me associated with getting filters etc. I at least installed the driver and the camera works ...I was going to see if I could attach it today without the filters (drawer etc) but became horribly sick and had to stay in bed.
I must say I really enjoy seeing your images.

Number 1 and number 2 look great Martin. If I was to change anything, the dark section in the middle I feel is too black. If it had the same tone as the surrounding darkness I feel it would look really natural. Just my opinion though so take it with a grain of salt. Great images
Yep. Number 1 and for me too.
Great work!

#2 for me as well Martin.
The challenge with this thing is render the central dark dust separately from the surrounding space - which you have done well. :D

Alex,
Thanks for the lovely comment
The 2600MC whilst a great camera can only do so much in narrowband, these images are about the best I can process with my equipment
Your 2600MM with the right filters will produce breathtaking Narrowband images believe me. You have made the right decision
Best

Ryan,
Thanks mate
Appreciate your comment
I tried increasing the brightness slightly around the central area whilst running some mid contrast through it but it didn’t improve or accentuate the detail , so I left it. However I take your point
Thanks
Martin
