Just a short heads up of supernova 2021pfs
Discovered on 9th of June 2021 is making quite a showing
In galaxy NGC 5427. The galaxy itself is mag 14 so visually it takes quite a large scope to see it but the supernova is gaining brightness from its discovery magnitude of 14.6
to now being 13.4. Visible with a modest scope now.
I photographed it 2 nights ago, with a 127mm refractor. It is quite a spectacular supernova and quite a rare event.
Cheers and stay safe all
