Hi
Ive just bought an LX90 10" & I have found the focus control to be a bit ordinary
If anybody has one of the above mentioned focusser's or similar that they would like to sell,I'd be very interested
thanks

Also keep your eye out for the JMI NGF-CM focuser. works a treat as well and doesn't have as much backlash.

I assume you already have the "normal" electric focusser (#1206 I think). I actually use both on my LX200.
The MAPUG site has some great solutions to improving the control of both the std and zero shift motors by including dynamic braking ie no over run when you release the button.
The zero shift like many others uses a 2" barrel not the SCT thread, so if you want to continue to make use of your SCT accessories, invest in the Orion 2" prime focus adaptor. This can be separated into two parts which then screw onto the SCT bits. Ideal for the diagonal and the reducers, etc.

I am considering buying a "normal" focusser from JMI,as the LX90 comes with only a manual control, theirs has engine braking if used with the supplied hand control rather than the meade one
the zero image shift seems like a good thing for when and if I start using the DSI. I may be wrong, but it appears that the meade ZISF comes with adapters(2) that have the same thread for the 2"diagonal to be fitted

I only got the 2" to 1 1/4" adaptor with mine. But as I said the Orion PF works a treat.
