New post in the DIY section: Cooling your mirrors with quantum mechanical lasers!:D
Will my friends kW pulsed Nd:YAG laser work? :D
Or how about my 380mW PGL III, or 130mW PGLIIIa?
Good star pointing lasers.
Though I though high powered lasers create heat? :D
Cool anyways. Haha pun intended

It says in the article how the lasers match the vibrational frequencies of the atoms and dampen the vibration to the point where there is almost no vibration at all. Talk about technology!
