Here's 4 panels I shot with the FSQ106N/Duo band early April and mid May. I need a lot more integration time in most of the panels and I want to do the 4 top part as well to include the dark tower. It's taking shape and yields some good details although a little noisy in places.

Thanks guys. Should be cool when I have more data and the noise goes down. Unfortunately all this area is pretty faint. No freebie.

I can see mr wolf, interesting to see how much dimmer than the prawn it is.
Never tried a mosaic before, how do you do yours?

Great work Marc, love to see it in colour.

I have just tried the 'Mosaic Script' method in PI.
It works a treat however very tedious.

Hi Clive I do the panels calibration and stacking as per usual then use registar to do the scaffold. From there it's all in PS. Noise reduction, levels, blending etc...

The prawn, although faint, is by far the very brightest part of that field. It's rich in Ha and has some Oiii as well. I'll need a lot more time on the area to bring SNR up and start sharpening.

Thanks mate

You need seriously dark skies to do any good colour on this and I struggle doing NB from home
Best colour shot of the prawn I've seen here was shot from Wiruna by Geoff Smith.

Never tried PI for mosaic. Registar is very easy and I've been using it for ever.

Looking forward to the addition of the Dark-Tower region to the mosaic - such a rich area of sky.

Nicely put together mosaic Marc. The object known as the tower is also close to this area, so you might like to try for that too. Though that will require even more RGB to obtain. Perhaps a multi year project.

Thanks a lot Rodney.

Thanks Paul. Yes that's the plan when weather and work cooperate to add 4 panels at the top.
