My reason for selling is my reason for selling. :) It is what it is.
For sale is one Takahashi FSQ-85ED quadruplet flat field telescope, f/5.3
It will come with the following Takahashi bits and pieces:
1. Extender ED1.5X (new price $535)
2. Flattener 1.01X (made for large sensors - not required for sensors under APS-C. New price $330)
3. 6x30 finder with bracket and quick release base (new price $195 for the finder, $103 for the quick release and $53 for the bracket)
4. 7x50 finder. Currently converted to a guidescope with a helical focuser, but I have the parts to convert it to standard. With bracket. (new price $395 for finder, $85 for bracket)
5. Camera Angle Adjuster (CAA). Green. (New price $305)
6. Tak clamshell with extender plate (new price $276)
7. Various Tak adapter tubes, including visual back
8. Tak 1.25" prism diagonal (new price $151)
Non-Tak extras:
1. K-Astec rings with K-Astec Losmandy plate and a top plate custom made by Stefan Buda for me. (new price total approx. $450)
2. Tak to Vixen finder style adaptor plate (new price $34)
3. Baader finder scope rings and bracket, used as a guidescope ring set (new price $180)
4. Red dot finder (no idea the brand, but good quality)
5. Custom made drawtube adaptors for imaging
(price guide here: http://astronomy-electronics-centre.com.au/prices_tak.htm#diagonal and here:https://optcorp.com/products/takahashi-fsq-85edx-flat - that last one is US dollars)
New price for the lot would be in the order of $5000 for the scope (if available), plus $3092 for the additional accessories, totaling $8092
My selling price is a rock solid non-negotiable $5000. Postage will be at Pack & Send cost - I will get a postage cost after the full payment of the package is made, and then you pay the postage and it is sent. Pick up is free if you come to Canberra :)
As I said, 100% not negotiable, and I will not at this point sell anything separately - the scope is to be sold as a package deal. I will be selling CCD, guide cams and the mount separately.
