Would someone please tell me how to keep myself logged into skype. Skype starts when windows loads but it doesn't automatically log me in and when I want to use it I can't remember my damn passwork :ashamed:

IIRC, there is a "Tick Box" somewhere that when checked, automatically logs you in. I think it was on the user log in panel?

PS – In principle, I don’t like auto log ins, except for IIS of course!

If I'm not logged in will skype notify me if someone calls?

I have a boxed ticked for load at start of windows, but I was logged out for some reason.

I'll shut down and restart and see if logs me in now that I have put my password in.

Hi Paul

On my wife's PC, we somehow managed to select options that log us on automatically and auto start Skype at start up. When friends in the UK Skype us, her PC goes ballistic, making noises to announce their efforts.

So, I think you need to have Skype running and be logged on in order to be visible, as well as available for friends to contact.

G'Day Paul,
I have to type my password in each time, even though I have ticked "log me in when Skype starts" it may be because I don't have Skype ticked to start when the computer starts.

Bizzare, it seems to log me in each time now, but yesterday morning when I opened it to call someone (don't do it very often) I had to sign in.

Thanks for your replies everyone.
