During the lunar eclipse, a plane flew through my field of view. It happened while I was live streaming on Youtube from Hazelbrook in the Blue Mountains at 22:47 AEST (near the end of the partial phase).

Equipment was 100mm SCT (f/10) with 25mm Plossl eyepiece and iPhone 11 Pro mounted at the eyepiece.

I was also using a CPC 1100 with ASI290MC camera on a Hyperstar for a closer view and both views are shown in the stream. The C11 only caught a wingtip of the plane a few seconds later (I think there were different delays in the two feeds). The stream was dropping frames so it only caught one frame of the plane. However my local recording caught several frames.

Here's a link to the moment in the live stream when it happened.

Planefinder shows the following flight over Hazelbrook at that time.

What a capture! Must have been at a lowish altitude to appear so large against the Moon.

Thanks for posting the links.

Cheers
