Hi all, just thought I would share an image from Monday night (9th).
This one was taken in Alt/Az mode with the LX200R 12" and DSI II Pro with a f/3.3 focal reducer. The image was taken with Envisage an processed in MaximDL.
The image consists of
60 images in Lum @ 21 seconds each
30 images each in RGB at 21 seconds each.

Light pollution was varying from annoying to cheesed off but overall I am quite happy with the image :)

Excellent image, well done. Is it the DSI that gives the bloated stars look?

A very M83 Ric, with some lovely stellar knots visible and fine details in the arms of the galaxy.

Very nice image Ric, especially with having to contend with the light pollution.

The frame combination brings out good detail.

Thanks for the comments everyone, they are greatly appreciated.
Mike, my tracking is done by synching the scope with the object in Star Atlas Pro and using the Drizzle feature in the Envisage software.
I'm not sure about the fat stars, I can focus in quite well and individual images show the stars as pinpoints so it may well be something in my processing technique, I'm still learning all this processing stuff. I'll have racked up my first year of imaging next month.

Edit: I hope everyone is seeing all of the spiral arms, my monitor at work seems to be cutting a lot of the detail out while the lappy at home was showing a lot more detail
