With minimal cloud around and little moisture in the Atmosphere, I ventured out to the Border Ranges away from the LP !
Lower level 'Seeing' was above average although the uppers were quite poor considering the current 170+klm Jet Stream, stars twinkling 10-fold looking more like aeroplanes and Jumbo Jets at times..

Anyway, of note with this image was the fact that it is only a single stack, as in 9 subs in DSS, usually better to do two stacks, ie, on stars and another on foreground but after doing the stack on the Stars, the forground actually alligned very well, apart from the tips on foreground tree which I just simple cloned out. That said, it is easy to see the foreground would still benefit greatly with its seperate stack...
The setting crescent moon allowed for some good lighting & the landscape frame just reaching the lower side of the milky way which didn't quite have the impact I assumed, but I do have a few portriates I should process as well.

6D II, Tripod only, 20mm F1.4 @ F1.8, ISO4000, WB 4200kelvin.
9 x 20 sec, Jpg's only, I do have the Raws but ussually only process a roughy with Jps 1st and only put time into the Raws depending on potential - personal considerations etc...

Hope worth a Squizzy,,

Thanx Greg, um, the Sigma 'Art' eh,,
Am looking at Samyang's prime range tho, hoping to have the 135mm F2 before the months out. Would make a nice F/L for the star-tracker
