GDay members,
I have a C11 carbon fiber tube.
The celestron motor focuser attached to it, bound up, and in my attempts to remove it (I’ve installed and uninstalled many times before), I think the focus assembly (not the rod attached to the primary mirror housing) threads have been spoiled.
can anyone tell me
1. If this is a spare part that celestron sell (have left a ticket with customer support)
2. Thread size details of the focus rod...I have it measured as 3/8-32. But would like confirmation if at all possible before I attempt to retap the thread.
unfortunately the focus rod is a different diameter to my c925, so using its feather touch micro focuser is not an option.
thanks in advance...
