Perfect night last night to chase the core. Used my Sony A7 with an old Mamiya 45mm lens, star adventurer and got this shot. Foreground is 10x2 min exposures, core is 2 frames of 20 x 2 min subs each. Bortle 3 skies south of Ipswich QLD.

Certainly looks like it was a perfect night and your result from taking advantage of it is spectacular. Great detail in both sky and foreground to produce a nicely balanced shot. Great stuff! Love it! :thumbsup:

Yeah 645 lens. I have the 45mm and 150mm I use adapted on my Sony A7 and both work very well. Focal length is pretty much the same.
