How do you make a movie?

I took this photo the other night along with three others in succession. When I clicked between the photos, I noticed the stars moving. I thought this might make a pretty spectacular movie if I took a couple of hour worth of photos 5 minutes apart, and then put them in a program of some sort to make a short movie. Any ideas how to do this?

Is it simple, because my understanding of software is simple......:whistle:

you can always put the pics in Windows movie maker (assuming you do use windows :) ) You can set the time interval between pics and duration aswell. Or were you thinking of a GIF animation, if so there are quite a few programs that will let you do this just google it. :)

Hi Baz I use a few different programs but its a lot of fun making up movies of flying into a galaxy..have Orion drift by .. Moon is cool as well any planets and just using the simple effects and you are in business.

I had a few but they were lost you reminded me I should do some more.. but have a go you will enjoy your self.

It was recomended to me and I've had a ball with it. Simple to use as well. The unregistered version leaves a logo on your movie, but if you like the program, register and no logo.
