I think this one is definitely the easiest target for a beginner so ... here is my take :)
Quite difficult to downsize an image to fit it into the 100KB recommended size but doable.

I took all those pictures a few months back and stacked all I had from different sessions in Sequator then processed in Photoshop.

Equipment used: Sony A7R4, Williams Optics Zenithstar 73 and iOptron AZ Mount Pro (I have got recently a SW HEQ5 to replace that AltAZ mount) - 30s exposures with only a handful of dark frames.

Really looking forward to some clear sky nights to see how better it can get with an equatorial mount.

Great effort. I love an Orion shot. It’s a beginner friendly target for sure but also has some things for the advanced user so you can come back to it many times over the years.

A great effort Eugen and welcome to the forum.

Be warned, astrophotography can be all consuming and a never ending journey...

However, here at IIS we are all still on the journey, main thing is to have fun!

Re downloading: The server will accept up to about 1.2Mbyte, then it will downsize for you.

The EQ mount and then guiding is the way to go, one step at a time.

Your result:
Quite well processed, good colour balance and detail.
As Adam said, you will come back to Orion many times.

Well done

Thank you very much guys for your kind comments :)

I am just a beginner right now but I hope to learn from the others and to help other beginners like me in the future.

I have just got some new equipment last week and I am really looking forward to test it but the weather gods were totally upset lately. We can't seem to get a clear sky night in Hobart at all.

Considering the Orion goes down pretty early in the night, I am thinking to try to get some pictures of the Carina Nebula next - what pretty target would you recommend? For now I am sticking to 430 mm focal length so it has to be pretty big :) Thank you,
