View Full Version here: : Another Jupiter, April 9, Murrumbateman
A lot of dense fog spoiled what promised to be a very good morning this morning, but before it rolled in I did manage to record some good stuff.
Here's maybe the best run from this morning, with Ganymede.
regards, Bird
Nice one, Anthony.
Shame about the fog. Although I suspect you caught the best of the seeing:)

Lovely image Anthony, very similar time mine was taken by the looks of it.
Yep, just after 3am. The fog caused all sorts of headaches after that, but i'm cooking up another image from the end of the session at around 4.50am, doesn't look too bad so far...

That detail on Gany is amazing, very nice, with a bit more FL you could get some really good ones of the moons :)
Wow, fantastic Anthony...........
Great imaging Anthony, you have captured some spectacular images.
Great stuff

Amazing Anthony.. You've had quite a season so far, and it's not even half over. You must be very pleased.
So consistently good.. every time I or someone else comes out with a good image, you post an even better one :)
Fantastic results and well worth the time, research and development you've put in over the past few years, and justified karma coming back to you for all the help you've given me and the Australian community in planetary imaging advances.

Amazing detail there Anthony! Excellent!
Cannot believe the amount of amazing Jove shots being produced at the moment and it's only just started as Jove will be high in the sky for the next 2 years here in the Southern Hemisphere.

Extraordinary work Anthony, that first pic looks almost 3-D
Yes, especially as conditions around here will go downhill very shortly, and then my imaging season will be over for Jupiter 2007. I've probably got another month at most before winter conditions put me out of business...
Good seeing tends to be about the same over the SE part of the country. I'm not out as much as I would like though, it's a 1hr trip each way to murrumbateman, plus 1 hr to pack and unpack the car. I have to head out in the afternoon to set up in daylight, so it really takes a chunk of time. I don't bother heading out unless I think the conditions will be good, and I'm getting better at picking the nights.
Thanks, it's really good to see the general quality of images going up, there are a lot of aussies now posting great images. Keeps the pressure on Damian :-)
cheers, Bird
