Hi everyone,
this is my first time post of a pic on IIS. Taken from my southern Canberra suburban backyard on Saturday 1 May.

ZWO ASI533
SW Esprit 80mm on a SW HEQ5 pro mount
Capture via NINA with no guiding
401 subs at 12 secs with 30 dark.
I cut the session short as the mount was getting close to meridian flip and I haven't worked that bit out yet.

Stacked in DSS and processed in SIRIL with a tweak of saturation and colour in GIMP.

Interested to know what other more experienced people think and any suggestions or critique more than welcome :thanx:

You can go past meridian flip without a problem for quite a while, there is no need to stop unless the scope will bump into something like a tripod leg etc.

That's a great capture Rob and congratulations on your first IIS image.

Things like guiding and meridian flips will soon become second nature.

Just do your research and one step at a time.

Well done
